He has shared insights into the couple’s relationship, revealing how he played an indirect role in bringing Sobhita and Chaitanya together. The couple has kept their romance under wraps since getting engaged in August.

In an interview with TOI, Nagarjuna expressed his admiration for Sobhita’s performance in the 2018 film Goodachari and recounted how he immediately reached out to her to convey his appreciation. “I invited her to meet me on her next visit to Hyderabad. When she came over, we engaged in some delightful conversations — not just about films, but also life. Chaitanya walked in during one of her visits, and that’s when they first met if I recall correctly,” he shared.

He went on to commend Sobhita’s remarkable journey, noting her dedication and hard work that led her to success, starting from Vizag. “She has put in tremendous effort to realize her dreams and has carved out a distinct place for herself in the industry. Not only is she a talented actress, but she also embodies warmth and humility,” he added. Nagarjuna expressed happiness over the undeniable bond he observes between Chaitanya and Sobhita, stating that it brings him great joy.
